Cathy Miglorie began writing professionally in 2002. Her writing is based on her work experience in the Vermont marble industry. She writes a weekly history column for Vermont's second largest daily newpaper “The Rutland Herald” . She is a frequent contributor to Killington, VT.'s “The Mountain Times.”

Miglorie recently gained certification in technical writing from the University of Vermont, and also holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Vermont.
